Questions people ask
Where does my donation go?
Your donation goes to the cause you pick in the form. If you choose “Where it is needed most”, we use it for the program that needs funds most urgently.
Will I get a receipt? Is it tax-deductible?
Yes, we send a receipt for every donation on WhatsApp. For a tax-benefit receipt, enter your PAN and address in the form. We hold provisional registration and approval orders from the Income Tax Department; both are in the documents section. Your tax advisor can confirm how much you can claim.
Is online payment safe?
Yes. Payments are processed securely by Cashfree Payments. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered on Cashfree’s checkout, and we never see or store them.
How can I volunteer?
Message us on WhatsApp or call us with your name, area and when you are free. We will tell you about upcoming food drives, camps and classes near you.
Can I donate things instead of money?
Yes. Food, clothes and essentials are welcome at our office. Please call before you come so someone is there to receive them.
